A real statement this Opal is. The stone is a natural Boulder Opal mined from near Jundah in central part of Queensland. It has been set in an interesting Sterling silver setting that has tendrils of silver coming down over the Opal, like a vine through the rainforest. It is a big pendant measuring nearly 50mm long (or 2 inches) and it is a real eye popper. Colours in the opal are better than represented in the pictures, there are greens, blue, red and crimson in amongst the natural mother stone or ironstone. A large sturdy chain would be necessary and compliment the pendant nicely.
